Debbie Kahn

Debbie Kahn is the owner and founder of Fiber Geek Studio, a place for fiber arts with a science and engineering perspective. She has a strong background in fiber science and engineering, with an interest in promoting fiber arts and creating wet felted wearable art.  She teaches private and group classes on wet felting and has taught felting classes at the Arizona Fiber Arts Retreat, as well as guest lectured at Phoenix College in a Textiles Art class. She also designs and fabricates specialty tools for wet felting and patterns for wet felted wearables. She gets her inspiration from science, mathematics, and her beautiful home state of Arizona. She has a Ph.D. from MIT in Polymer Science and Engineering, specializing in high performance fibers.
